| The Custom Home Building Process: Rough-In Walk Through
We encourage homeowners to visit the jobsite as much as possible. And we encourage constant communication between the homeowner and the builder throughout the building process.
In addition to this regular interaction, we schedule a job-site visit with the homeowner prior to the sheetrock being hung. The builder and homeowner will walk through every room in the house and discuss current structure and future additions. There will be no contractors present during this visit to assure a quiet, safe and enjoyable meeting.
The builder will also discuss placement of utilities, plumbing issues, heating and cooling equipment locations and anything that will not be as apparent once the house is complete. We find this meeting very helpful for the client to really get to know their home.
